editing this comment because i was lazy to start a new comment but Jem oh my god Jem. I've said this before and I'll say it again multiple times but Yuggoth was great??? That feeling when you're super immersed in everything that's happening, all the mod meta text and the mechanics were on point, and I think you and Kyuu and Ray did an amazing job in making sure that everything flowed cohesively and concisely in a way that was still super engaging. I enjoyed so much about this game and it was an awesome way to ease me into the murdergame life - something Yuggoth started and I won't be able to turn back on ever, LAUGHS. Thank you for making my first murdergame a really positive experience and for enabling all our shenanigans.
Other non-mod related love - I'M SAD WE DIDN'T GET PROPER CR but that's also because I play an antisocial asshole. But I enjoyed reading both Chiaki and Hana's threads and as someone who's vaguely canonblind, I really enjoyed how you portrayed their voices differently!!!
tl;dr: 10/10 would murder with you again, 15/10 if it's a game you're modding bats eyelashes at
But no, realtalk. I had a blast here - the setting felt very immersive and you already know how attached I got to the NPCs. You, Kyuu, and Ray definitely put a lot of time and love into setting up and maintaining the game and I honestly can't thank you enough for that - like, you kept a good 30+ people entertained for five weeks, and that's no easy feat!
I also really appreciate how responsive you guys were to things and how willing to roll with the punches you all were (I'm sorry for changing my evidence writeup like five times on y'all). You let me try out a lot of things I haven't gotten to do in games before and I really, really appreciate it.
And now on to less mod-related love!!
I didn't get to thread with Chiaki nearly as often as I would have liked because I was all over the place, especially in the last couple of weeks, but reading the other threads she was in was great - she's really cute and you pull her off really well. As for Hana, I'm still heartbroken over scapegoating her in week one. Oops! Your ability to make people care about characters they only know for a short time is really impressive.
Overall? 10/10, would play in a game you modded/play with you in another game again! Thank you so much for making this possible!
SARAH I'VE BEEN WATCHING YUGIOH EVERY NIGHT AND IT'S RUINING MY LIFE AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT
All joking aside!! I'm really glad you joined this game and that we had the chance to get to know each other. Talking to you these past couple of weeks has been so much fun and I'm really excited to get to thread with you more in the future! I am inevitably going to wind up throwing Kisara your way at some point. probably Ishizu too.
Character-wise, having Kaiba around in the game was also super fun. He was just the right blend of silly and intense (...intensely silly?) and seeing him around (especially in my inbox) never failed to bring a smile to my face. I'm sad we didn't get to tagteam murder but... next time!! For sure!!
Thank you very much for joining the game and for being so willing to plot with me! I hope you had a lot of fun here and that you have a blast at other games you join in the future. Here's to the first of many!
I'm glad we had a chance to speak to each other and play with each other -- even if the latter portion had been extremely limited, heh. I was rather excited to see you bring in Kaiba, and stalked a lot of his threads because he was rather entertaining. Not to mention it was a blast from the past -- back in the day I was a huge, HUGE Yu-Gi-Oh fan so seeing those characters being played in-game was exciting!!
I want to thank you for playing your part in this game, as everyone had a role (no pun intended) in making it at least enjoyable in some sense to me. I hope we can continue to speak with each other and role-play sometime soon -- whether it be in another murdergame or roleplay!
I'm super glad you joined because threading with you on the tdmurder was fun, and threading with you in the game itself was even more fun. But even aside from that, getting to know you over the last couple of weeks has been even better!
Light's a super tricky character to play, but you play him amazingly well. He was the perfect blend of acting polite and absolutely nuts, and I greatly enjoyed each and every thread I had with him. Reading his private conversations now that unlocks have happened is even better, because there was a lot he was doing behind the scenes that is just so good.
(I'm still giggling over him being offended by the clam chowder.)
Thank you so much for bringing him to the game, and for being so willing to plot! The Kaiba-Light-Yukina alliance was definitely a high point for me and I'm really glad that they able to (sort of) get involved with the Hunters. Murder lessons from Kira will have to be something for another day, but I really loved what we did do and I'm looking forward to doing more with you in the future!
Here's hoping this will be the first of many fun times we have together!
I wanted to say thank you for being easy to communicate with because even though it was just over one little thing I contacted you about, how someone replies always makes the difference. From my point of view, you've always seem like easy to approach and all-around nice person to speak to. Even now this remains true.
Also, I was super excited to see a Light being played in a murdergame! I've seen a total of one other DN character utilized in one before, but I never thought I'd see someone pick up a dynamic character and bring him into a setting he'd likely flourish in. I imagine that it couldn't have been easy, but as others may have mentioned before...you did an extraordinary job in your portrayal. 10/10 would play with again!!
Owl!! I'm going to be completely real with you: I love OCs and have many of them, but I'm too much of a weenie to actually play them on Dreamwidth, so I admire you a lot for doing that yourself.
And even aside from being willing to play characters of your own creation here, Omega is a super compelling character. I loved the threads we were able to have and I absolutely loved reading the threads she was in that I wasn't involved with. She's very well fleshed-out, and the bits and pieces I got from seeing her around made me super curious about the lore from her setting! It seems like you've put a lot of heart into building her character and her world, and I can 100% say that Yuggoth would have been a very different game without you in it.
She and you were both delightful to have around and I'm really glad we got to thread with each other!! I hope you had a lot of fun and that there's more fun to come for you in the future.
But no, in all seriousness, you were fantastic. I had absolutely no idea what to expect going into threads with Percival, but I loved what I got. Mobage characters can sometimes be challenging to play because they have very distinct voices while also having sort of scattered canon, but you did an amazing job of not only keeping his voice but also allowing him to grow as a character.
Even though we didn't get to thread all that much (and that's on me!), I really enjoyed the threads we did have, and I loved seeing what he got up to in trials and from what I've seen from unlocks so far! I hope you had a lot of fun here and I'm really looking forward to getting to play with you again in Tikirobo.
Hey, Vivi, hey. Do you know who's cool? That's right, you are!
Even outside of role-playing, you're a pretty great person! You're pretty down-to-earth and from what I've seen, it's obvious you're a kind person which is always good. I'm glad we had the chance to talk and to meet -- and because of that I may have suddenly found an interest in Granblue Fantasy. So, thanks for that too! For the record, this is extraordinary since I actually am not too fond of mobage games so yeah. THAT HAPPENED.
And speaking of Granblue Fantasy, I figure I may as well bring up Percival. I just feel like I need to tell you that when I knew an exactly ZERO amount of ANYTHING about him and read from his info card, I wrote him off immediately as just some arrogant, smug guy who sets things on fire for fun. I mean, just one-note style. I want to say I'm glad that I was SUPER WRONG about that initial assessment because holy shit did Percival bring a lot to the table and from what I can tell?? He was pretty IC as well, which, considering how abrasive his personality can be...was probably a bit difficult from time to time! I mean, I wouldn't know if you really were struggling or anything, but I really liked your Percival so yeah.
Oh yeah and one more thing!! I keep forgetting that it was your first murdergame and I wanted to congratulate you on your first foray into things on that front!! I also wanted to let you know that it was incredible how involved you were??? Like I wouldn't have known that this was your first time doing things if not for you stating so. It can be really difficult to dive into the shit like that on your first time around (and for me it's really difficult, like INSANELY difficult so I give you a lot of kudos for that!!!)
I'm also glad that we managed to become friends and that no matter what happened, you always were kosher with things. I'm failing in the words department, but I just wanted to shower you with some praise and all that good stuff because you deserve it!!
This was both my first murdergame and my first DW game after the long break I took, and you managed to make me feel so welcome! You and Yukina match to boot: you're both absolute sweethearts!
Yukina may have been a pure in some sense, but she was a very proactive one who added a very fitting and pivotal component to our cast. I loved getting to watch her character development, and her gain her own resolve — even if she made mistakes along the way. You wrote her so humanly and I've been loving the private convos and meetings that I finally got to read!
Basically: you are lovely and I look forward to writing with you again!
Hey Britt, I just wanted to let you know that you've been an incredibly awesome person? I never felt like it was difficult speaking to you -- you were always easily approachable and just an all-around considerate person. Even when it seemed like you were super busy, it always seemed like you had time to speak with and plan things with anyone who would approach you. You were always also very energetic and very involved in the game -- it was easy to tell how much you cared about not only your character but about the game as a whole and everyone enjoying it even though you weren't a mod!
Also, I wanted to say that I was relatively excited (once again, shh) to see someone play a character from a classic anime I know and loved -- besides the fact that I do also particularly enjoy that manga-ka's works. But anyway, I wanted to let you that you did very well with Yukina -- everything seemed very IC of her and as I do remember her personality very well it was good to see someone doing her a lot of justice!! I also liked that you weren't afraid to show off the other side to her as well since I knew that takes a lot of guts, but also when you did you didn't like make her ... too cold? No matter how bad things got in general and for her!
Anyway, I've probably said this before but I hope we can continue to roleplay and shoot the breeze in the future and all that good stuff!!
FRANCY!!! puts ur name in uppercase since u didn't
I'm really glad we were both in this game, because getting to know you has been a real blast. Being your faction-mate was really great! You were always so willing to plot and kick around ideas and it was super, super great.
Also, your ability to play different types of characters is really impressive! Your Jay was so good in this game, and your Papika was adorable in Robowest, and they're both really distinct from each other - which is a good thing. You definitely have a wide variety of characters in your repertoire and I'm honored that I've gotten to thread with two of them!
Thank you so much for everything during these last couple of weeks, and I'm really looking forward to playing with you again in future murdergames! Maybe we'll even get to mash betray on each other instead of on everyone else!!
I'm not even going to lie: if you hadn't said that this was your first murdergame, I wouldn't have guessed that. You dove right into things and had Andersen get involved with a whole slew of misadventures, and as someone who's a little gun-shy about starting things even though I've got a couple of games like this under my belt, I think that's really admirable, and I hope you never lose your drive to be as involved with things as you can.
Andersen himself was an incredibly engaging character. He has a very distinct voice and a very unique way of interacting with other people, and as exasperating as some of the things he said could be, I found myself roaring with laughter more often than not. I loved seeing him around. Yuggoth would have been a very different game without him, and I'm glad you brought him along for the ride!
Thank you for all the threads we had together and all the chatting we did. I look forward to seeing you around more and I hope you really had a blast here!
Xander!! Seeing Hajime around was an absolute delight. Her eccentricities were super endearing and she always seemed to be up to something funny. Reading unlocks has been great; I definitely lost my shit at "I just lost ten years of my life".
We didn't get to thread as much as I'd sort of hoped (and that's on me - irl blew up in a major way just when I finally got an IC reason for Yukina to try and talk to Hajime more), but I'm glad we've gotten to kick memes and shitposts back and forth a bit on plurk.
I definitely hope to see you around more and hopefully have closer CR in the next game we're in together, and I hope that you had fun here!
First I want to compliment you on your character choice: Akane is a fascinating character, especially in a setting like this. She's not an easy character to play, either, and I think you did a great job balancing her motivations to save her world against her desire to, y'know, not die.
I've seen you around before because we have a couple of friends/acquaintances in common, so it was really nice to actually get to talk to you myself! I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and hopefully seeing you around in more murdergames. I hope you had a blast here!
STYX you were so dynamic and amazing! This game would not have been what it was without you — Kaito had a lot on his shoulders, but you did too. Getting to sift through his convos and meetings has been a ride and made me realize how much was truly going on behind the scenes!
You're such a proactive player and it worked well for a character as driven and motivated as Kaito. I enjoyed every single one of our interactions, and you gave me so much that I hadn't expected from the getgo...like, in the slightest.
I know we didn't speak very much, but for the times we did, I appreciated how even though you too had a busy schedule you were very forthcoming with anyone who wished to interact with your character! Also, did I mention how excited I was to see you bringing in Suzaku with YYH? I think I mentioned it once before -- I'm a fan of old-school anime, what can I say? With that said, I thought you did a FANTASTIC job with him. Like, seriously, your playing of him was absolutely phenomenal!
I hope I see you again sometime on the role-playing/murdergame front! It was nice speaking to you and not only having Knoll interact with your character but seeing Suzaku's interactions with others!!

And also pay me to mod again.
